A random video call only works if both people feel fine being there. These guidelines are what everyone on CallMeChat has agreed to. They are short on purpose.

Treat the other caller decently

Disagree, joke, tap next when you are bored. Just do not insult, threaten or humiliate anyone. Hate based on race, religion, gender, sexuality, disability or nationality gets accounts removed.

Consent comes first

Do not show anything sexual to someone who has not clearly agreed to it, and do not pressure anyone to show anything. If the other person says no, or taps next, that is the answer.

Adults only, no exceptions

CallMeChat is adults-only. Content involving minors leads to an immediate ban and a report to the authorities.

No recording or exposing people

Do not record, screenshot or share anyone from a call without their permission, and never share someone else's personal details, like their name, address or social accounts.

No selling, spamming or scamming

Calls are for conversation. Do not advertise, drop links, push people to other apps, or ask for money, gift cards or crypto. Blackmail of any kind is reported and banned. The legit page lists the usual scam patterns.

After someone reports

Reports go to a review team with the call details. Depending on what happened, an account may get a warning, a temporary restriction or a permanent ban. Blocking someone also stops them from being matched with you again.

Staying safe yourself

Personal details stay off camera, and uncomfortable calls end with next. The video call safety page goes further.
