About CallMeChat

CallMeChat is a random video call website for adults that pairs you with a single stranger per call, live on camera, straight from the browser. You tap start, someone pops up on screen, and the conversation runs until either side taps next. That is the product, and we have tried hard not to bolt anything on that gets in its way.

People type the name in a few different ways, CallMeChat, call me chat or callme chat, and they all end up in the same place: callmechat.cam. The name is meant literally. It is the sort of place where you hear "call me" and actually get the call a few seconds later.

Text chat with strangers is easy to fake and easy to ignore. Group video rooms reward whoever talks loudest. A one-on-one video call sits in between: you get an actual face and an actual voice, and there is nobody else to perform for. Conversations get to the good part faster, and they end quickly and cleanly when they are not working.

That is why CallMeChat has no group rooms, no public feed and no follower counts. The call is the main event. Everything else on the site, from follows to coins, exists to make the next call better or to bring back a person you enjoyed talking to.

We will never ask for your password through a message or a call. We will never ask you to pay outside the app, send gift cards or move to another platform. We will never sell your personal data. And we will never pretend a call is live when it is not; every match is a person pressing start at the same time you are.

We also do not promise things the product does not do. CallMeChat cannot stop someone from recording their own screen, so the safety page is blunt about treating every call as though it could be saved.

CallMeChat is written in English and built for English speakers, and a large share of its callers are in the United States. Because matching is random and open to adults everywhere, you also meet people from Latin America, the UK, Europe and plenty of places you might not guess, often in the same evening.

Some people come to kill time after work. Some practice their English. Some are just curious what someone twelve time zones away is up to at that exact moment. All of them are adults; every user has to confirm being 18 or older first.

Running live video for thousands of people costs real money, so CallMeChat sells coins and an optional VIP membership. Coins pay for extra matches once your free ones are used, for private calls with people you follow, and for optional gifts. Nobody has to pay to start, and a lot of people call for a long time on free matches and Reward Center claims.

Every call screen has a report button. A report goes to a review team with the details of the call, and accounts found breaking the community guidelines may be restricted or removed. Blocking is instant and personal: once you block someone, the queue will not put them in front of you again.

Four things, and they are not complicated. Be an adult. Be civil to whoever turns up on screen, which mostly means no insults and no pressure.
